In systems that make up smart factories and smart cities, alarms play a crucial role throughout the entire process—from system configuration and maintenance to ensuring safety. Typically, numerical alarms are used; however, in environments with numerous electronic devices, machinery, and high-voltage conditions, it is challenging to build an effective alarm system using numerical alarms alone. This is because sudden surge signals can be mixed with normal signals, making it difficult to distinguish abnormal conditions accurately.

When such surges occur frequently in a short period of time, it becomes impossible to operate an alarm system using only numerical alarms. This not only disrupts facility operations but can also lead to unexpected shutdowns for unscheduled maintenance, ultimately affecting overall production. Moreover, it imposes considerable stress on facility operators. In extreme cases, excessive alarms caused by surges lead field personnel to disable the alarm system altogether.

To address these issues, Cnix introduces C-Alarm. C-Alarm minimizes the impact on facility operations and the production process by analyzing the patterns of normal signals in real time and triggering anomaly alarms only when the input signals deviate from these learned normal patterns. This approach significantly reduces false alarms and alleviates the operational stress on facility staff.

Cnix’s data service platform is designed to support your efforts in reducing carbon emissions and enhancing operational efficiency.
